Back in 1997, Lawrence and his band Denim were about to

release a sure-fire hit record - but just weeks before it was due 

to come out, the People's Princess got killed in a car crash and

the radio wouldn't go near a record called "Summer Smash".

As a result, the record was never released and Denim's rise to

pop megastardom never happened.

However, in a recently discovered parallel dimension,

Diana is still alive and has just been booted out of "I'm a

Celebrity Get Me Out of Here", and Lawrence is the megastar 

he was born to be. There was so much demand from 'the kids'

to hear his music that the government had to set up Rocket

Cottage Radio to play 24/7 Lawrence all day, every day.

The station's 2 superstar DJs, Don & Clive have made sporadic

appearances in our universe since they discovered a worm hole

through to our dimension, which takes the form of a cheap

special effect round the back of the bins at their Birmingham HQ.

Their Roadshow plays to hundreds of thousands of their people

'back home' every summer. Are we really so different?
